Aichou (藍朓), also known as Aichou of the Sky (空の藍朓, "Sora no Aichō") and Rooster Ninja Aichou (酉忍藍朓), is one of the main characters of the Ninku series. Much like his companions Fuusuke and Touji, Aichou is the former captain of the original 10th division Ninku Unit.
Appearance[]
Aichou is a very slightly muscular young man who stands at 5'7" feet. In first stage, His hair is short and black and he wears blue denim jeans, a black tank top and brown shoes (as well as a tanned skin tone in the anime). In one episode after crossdressing as a woman during infiltration, he wore a pair of black briefs which was concealed on his jeans. In flashbacks, Aichou had a very long ragged hair being dyed reddish brown.
During the events of Second Stage, his appearance had remained the same with the exception of his hair being dyed from red to blonde.
Personality[]
Aichou's defining characteristics in the Ninku series are his hot headedness and hatred for human beings owing to his rough upbringing. In the anime, however, this trait is changed to comical misogyny as he displays a distaste for women. His interactions with Rihoko in the anime are common examples of Aichou's rage as she constantly flirts with him only to him retorting with slurs and other insults, however in the manga, he originally felt contempt towards Rihoko but immediately stopped after learning that she was Touji's sister.
Although he was neglected by multiple people throughout his life, Aichou found friends in Fuusuke and Touji and has since formed a very strong friendship with the two along with the other Ninku captains.
