Midori is a minor character in the Ninku series. She is the fiancée of the late Lieutenant Mamoru.
Apperance[]
Midori's appearance differs heavily between the manga and the anime.
In the manga, She is a young woman with long black hair, a small black dress shirt and white skirt with high heels. In the anime, she is a Burnette woman with a more formal dress with jewelry and more makeup.
Personality[]
Midori simply put is a loner who isolated herself from others waiting for Mamoru to return to he, however in the manga, she is somewhat of a misandrist, despising men and young boys owing to believing that Mamoru broke his promise of returning and getting married. Other reasons include men constantly flirting with her as well as Shirata constantly stalking her.
Despite her hatred for men, she befriends Fuusuke after he came to her for food and quickly opens up to him.

Before the war, Mamoru asked for Midori's hand in marriage to which she accepts, but a few years later, he is called to war and he promises her his return and to get married. Ever since, Midori had become silent and nonchalant towards others.
After the war, Midori began living in an apartment and starting going to a nightclub known as DISCODIS. One day at the club, she runs into Shirata who desperately tried to arrange a date for the two to which she denies and walks away from. In the same night, she meets Fuusuke who asks her to be friends with but she quickly brushes him off until she hears his stomach growling really loudly. Midori gives in and takes him to the buffet line where Fuusuke eats everything and Midori leaves.
The next day, Midori took a walk and is surprised by a naked Fuusuke. Flustered by him, she takes off her panties and gives them to him to wear as he finishes washing his clothes.
